I Had a very busy week/ weekend..( Hence the silence) So the Lagos Theatre Festival took place from the 27 feb-4th mar and I was able to attend over the weekend! The Lagos Theater Festival was founded by British Council in 2013, it  is a festival to present performing arts from Nigeria and the UK every February in Lagos. It has a part focus on presenting site specific work.  This year they had about over 100 shows from 47 companies / producers across Lagos Island and Mainland. There were shows in ikorodu and epe.. it was nice to see that people on the mainland  were not left out! I had missed previous editions of the festival and made it a point of duty to attend this year..since I've been away from the industry for quite a while now...it was interesting to see new and old faces..had a lot of people asking me..where have been ...( Like  they were truelly looking for me) lol please oh.. I am back now, you people come and give me work!😁 I must commen...

Since Fela Durotoye declared his intention to contest for the 2019 presidential elections..theres been different  reactions on social media platforms regarding his declaration. A lot of people are saying he has no chance...some say his wasting his time..some even go ahead to abuse him....saying he has nothing to offer and why is he aiming so high..he should go and start from the grassroot He has no political experience.. etc So I ask again what do we really want?! Nigerians are a bunch of opinionated individuals..all we know how to do is talk talk and complain...and no one really takes any action to try and change what they lament about. Buhari is there..you say you don't want him..Atiku comes...no..he is old..they should go and rest! A young blood comes  and everyone seems to have an issue.. He is young...he is inexperienced politics is not for him....bla bla bla! You say...you want credible leadership..you want  a young and vibrant leader...one has ...

Yay...I also have a friend who just got back Oh! 'pun intended'🤣 After church service today...I went to see a friend who just got back...yes I said it..she was coming from yankee..come and beat me...am in my house...lol ( I'm bored) Seriously tho...my friend just got back from. a trip and ..   I had to go spend sometime with her..had alot of catching up to do! Earlier in the day..I was just lamenting to myself on the shortage of handbags or better put the lack of it in my life... and the need to get some in my  collection..especially in different colours ...I needed a red accessory to compliment my look which was a black dress and it would have been nice to have paired it with a red bag Guess what my friend got me ....a very cute red/white bag and mii love it! Now I have a red bag..... Like I said earlier..am bored!🏃🏻‍♀️ Ok bye #deuces✌
