House On The Rock ; The Spirit Life Cnference : Day Three And Counting!

-

The Spirit Life conference kicked off on the 23rd of september, with Pastor Paul Adefarasin opening the conference with his message of follower ship and how ones future can be determined by the folk around you and who you follow. So it is important to follow the right team.

Bishop Tudor Bismark...then took it to the next level as he admonished the church on Faith and spirit.

Day two...Bishop John Francis tore the house down with the message of Decree

Day three: Dr Cindy Trimm enlightened us and opened our minds to move from the realm of revelation to the realm of application!

Dr Mike Murdock now opined seven vital decisions for a believer:

1: To be a world class learner
2: To master the art of receiving
3: For one to excel in servant hood
4: Memorable reactions; your success depends on your reaction
5: Journal your journey
6: Decision to sow seed lavishly
7  Decision to obey every wealth whisper

It has indeed been a spirit filled, impactful and awesome time in the presence of the Lord.

Not forgetting the blessing of the music ministry of God's servants who have been taking the house from one level of worship and praise to the next. Such as : Micah Stampley, Nathaniel Bassey, Sunny Badu and the LMGC!

There's still more to come... tomorrow the 26th and sunday the 27th!

If you have missed out on any of these days, you still have a chance to come and be blessed in the remaining days left....!

Pictures after the cut....

Hmmmn where do I start from... Some time last month ..I took up the courage to apply for a teaching course in yoga and got in..hence the silence here! I've had an interest in the practice for quite a while..when the opportunity came up to learn how to teach yoga...I jumped on it I most say it's been 5 weeks of intense ..deep ..and whatever adjective you can think of....work ! I've learnt so much..it may not seem like such a big deal but believe me when I say it's huge! Never knew yoga was that deep..when I took up the course..in my mind it was just a regular work out routine since  fitness is my forte.. It  will be easy (I said to myself) afterall it's all about the physical work but..who sigh!.. It goes beyond that.. there is the mental and emotional as well..relating to ones self... we had to learn and unlearn and learn again..from self discovery to the physical practise ...anatomy and physiology to meditation...awareness and a whole lot more.... ...

Nicole's Journal... Friends Who Marry and Cut You Off Because You Are Single!!!

Okay...so I never understand this thing girls do.. Why is it that when your single friends get married they cut you off cause in their head you are bad luck and it's a taboo to hang around single girls seeing that they have left the single girls club! That's how a friend of mine used me during her wedding planning but the moment the wedding was over  'puff' she was gone with the wind...like I am some sort of plaque! I didn't hear from her again until she needed me for her baby's dedication! (story for another day!) Recently I bought an asoebi from a friend of a mutual friend.. I was practically forced to get it...guess what....I didn't get invited for the wedding! I'm wondering if any one has experienced such before..so they reach out to you to get asoebi but forget to send you an invitation for the D-day Funny yea!? Arrrgh 🤣🤣🤣 I'm going to spare y'all the details..not important!

See Why Tyler Perry Doesn't Like People Singing Happy Birthday To Him

-
Hey Guys, And here’s why. Every morning that I can remember until I was 41, I woke up to the voice of my mother singing Happy Birthday to me. Be it when I was a kid in my room or when I was older and had moved away, she would call on the phone and sing her heart out. How I miss her voice, off key and all... lol. All of that to say that anytime I hear some individual sing it to me, it reminds me that she's not here anymore. Sure saying it is fine, but the song… well, hearing it sung by one person makes me sad. I don't mind a group singing it so much, but one singular voice haunts me.   Just by natural reflex I woke up this morning, being half asleep, I reached for the phone to see if she had left a message, but then I realized that she died 6 years ago. In the split second that it took me to wake up fully I felt a wave of sadness come over me. Then, I heard her voice in my head saying “Baby, count your blessings. God is good." My tinge of sadness went immediately i...
