Women Proposing To Their Significant Other..New Trend!?

Lately there is been different posts and pictures on social media of women proposing to their significant other..
Case in question  was one that went viral few days back,  where a girl proposed and her boyfriend turned her down...(sad story)
Turns out dude is married..why lead her on  tho and give false hope of a  future that is'nt assured.
Yeah..so now the issue with pubic proposal..

Dont get me wrong guys get turned down a gazillion times..hence the problem with proposing in public! ..if you are dating someone and you believe in a future with such a person ..be sure that they are also on the same page with you..one should be able to tell if their boyfriend or girlfriend will accept their marriage proposal!
To avoid embarrassment..since public proposals is a trend now..be sure to get that big YES!

..Why waste your time and that of another if you don't intend to spend the rest of your life with the person ...when dating be sure to date a prospective husband/wife!
So now this thing about women proposing...
Is it a new trend now...that should be embraced?! Will this make the men relaxed and wait for the women to wear the pants  and
 pop the question...

I am very old fashioned and believe in
 tradition, it's my opinion that,the onus is on  the man to do the asking!
I don't see myself proposing to no man...lol..put a ring on it if you like it!
Men are naturally born to rule and conquer
The proposal is the man's job...he can decide on however he wants it to pan out...where  as the wedding is entirely ours!  😉 (I kid)

If the role is revised it sort of emasculates the man and may  lead to  dire consequences in the neareast future!
You can have cases where the man begins to remind you of how you forced him into marriage with a proposal..after all he didn't  do the asking and that can affect the relationship

Society also frowns at the woman...cos it's seen as  being desperate and in a hurry to settle down

So..is it wrong for the lady to pop the question?...I'll say ...at the end of the day every relationship is different! And each couple understands what works for them... if it's ecpedient for the lady to pop the question..so be it..(do you sister!)

Hmmmn where do I start from... Some time last month ..I took up the courage to apply for a teaching course in yoga and got in..hence the silence here! Nicole's Journal... Friends Who Marry and Cut You Off Because You Are Single!!!

Okay...so I never understand this thing girls do.. Why is it that when your single friends get married they cut you off cause in their head you are bad luck and it's a taboo to hang around single girls seeing that they have left the single girls club! That's how a friend of mine used me during her wedding planning but the moment the wedding was over  'puff' she was gone with the wind...like I am some sort of plaque! I didn't hear from her again until she needed me for her baby's dedication! (story for another day!) Recently I bought an asoebi from a friend of a mutual friend.. I was practically forced to get it...guess what....I didn't get invited for the wedding! I'm wondering if any one has experienced such before..so they reach out to you to get asoebi but forget to send you an invitation for the D-day Funny yea!? Hey Guys, And here’s why. Every morning that I can remember until I was 41, I woke up to the voice of my mother singing Happy Birthday to me. Be it when I was a kid in my room or when I was older and had moved away, she would call on the phone and sing her heart out. How I miss her voice, off key and all... lol. All of that to say that anytime I hear some individual sing it to me, it reminds me that she's not here anymore. Sure saying it is fine, but the song… well, hearing it sung by one person makes me sad.
