Oh Today Is The Valentine!!!

Now that the day has come and will soon be over can we move on with life now...
The amount of atrocities that is taking place..has already taken place and will soon take place is beyond comprehension!

Don't get me wrong.. am not trying to be a Debbie downer just because like someone said I do not have a Valentine! I just feel the hype is just too much!

Why should one be constraint to showing love on a just one particular day...out of the 365 days in a year!

I believe the act of kindness, showing and spreading of love should be a regular thing not just one day mapped out to show a big gesture that you care for someone!
The little gestures every day is what counts!


Show your loved ones you care and appreciate them on a daily bases

The pressure put on this February 14 is too much if you ask me..

People begin to fret about creating that perfect romantic Valentine date outing for their significant other..instead of enjoying your day normally and just appreciating each other ..You are weighed up  with how to get the perfect gift ...the perfect date night setting..etc like we see in the movies and romantic novels!  It really does take the fun away!

I've never really been a sucker for Valentine.. in fact I don't think I've ever had a date on Valentine's day.....I don't feel pressured to get one! I like to see it as just another day!

Someone asked me earlier what I was going to be doing for the day..my response!.. go about my normal activity of day and go to church for midweek service and she goes. after service...?
I let her know that I will be heading home after church!

She wasn't having it, she asked if I won't give myself a treat..and am wondering to what purpose..is it my birthday or is it Christmas!?

The one day extreme show of affection doesn't   guarantee  a prefect relationship!


If you were booed up today ...you got a rose and some chocolates...etc or you had a dinner date with your significant other good for you!

If you are in my category that can't  careless or be bothered..#👊

Then those who would have loved to have been celebrated by bae..but do not have as boo to share the day with ...
all well and good it's not the end of the world..its just another day for people to be extra!

Hmmmn where do I start from... Some time last month ..I took up the courage to apply for a teaching course in yoga and got in..hence the silence here! I've had an interest in the practice for quite a while..when the opportunity came up to learn how to teach yoga...I jumped on it I most say it's been 5 weeks of intense ..deep ..and whatever adjective you can think of....work ! I've learnt so much..it may not seem like such a big deal but believe me when I say it's huge! Never knew yoga was that deep..when I took up the course..in my mind it was just a regular work out routine since  fitness is my forte.. It  will be easy (I said to myself) afterall it's all about the physical work but..who sigh!.. Nicole's Journal... Friends Who Marry and Cut You Off Because You Are Single!!!

Okay...so I never understand this thing girls do.. Why is it that when your single friends get married they cut you off cause in their head you are bad luck and it's a taboo to hang around single girls seeing that they have left the single girls club! That's how a friend of mine used me during her wedding planning but the moment the wedding was over  'puff' she was gone with the wind...like I am some sort of plaque! I didn't hear from her again until she needed me for her baby's dedication! (story for another day!) Recently I bought an asoebi from a friend of a mutual friend.. I was practically forced to get it...guess what....I didn't get invited for the wedding! I'm wondering if any one has experienced such before..so they reach out to you to get asoebi but forget to send you an invitation for the D-day Funny yea!? Arrrgh 🤣🤣🤣 I'm going to spare y'all the details..not important!

Hey Guys, And here’s why. Every morning that I can remember until I was 41, I woke up to the voice of my mother singing Happy Birthday to me. Be it when I was a kid in my room or when I was older and had moved away, she would call on the phone and sing her heart out. How I miss her voice, off key and all... lol. All of that to say that anytime I hear some individual sing it to me, it reminds me that she's not here anymore. Sure saying it is fine, but the song… well, hearing it sung by one person makes me sad. I don't mind a group singing it so much, but one singular voice haunts me.   Just by natural reflex I woke up this morning, being half asleep, I reached for the phone to see if she had left a message, but then I realized that she died 6 years ago.
